The Way of Saint James
Starting from Geneva, Cluny, Lyon, or directly from Le Puy-en-Velay, the journey to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle is now much more than just a pilgrimage. It's an adventure, a true adventure. Discovering the universal heritage surrounding this mythical route is done on foot, but also by bike, mountain bike, and even by motorcycle.
The Stevenson Trail
Travel in the footsteps of Robert-Louis Stevenson... Uttering these words is already an adventure! A hiker before his time, Stevenson undertook this journey in 1878 alone from Le Puy-en-Velay to reach the Cévennes, a land that attracted him since his childhood in Scotland. 252 km of adventure...
The Saint-Régis Trail
The Saint-Régis trail is a loop hike starting from Le Puy-en-Velay that can be completed in 9 days. Covering a total distance of 201 km, this hike will take you through the plateaus of Velay. You will discover a magnificent region of medium mountains, whether on the volcanic plateaus of Mezenc or Meygal, or the granite plateau of Montfaucon.
The GR3®, Loire Trail
Between basins and plateaus, the Loire River originates a few kilometers away at Mont Gerbier-de-Jonc and crosses the Ardèche department towards Le Puy-en-Velay. From there, the Loire sets its course following the geology, faults, and fractures of time. An impressive series of reliefs accompanies it as it crosses the municipalities, revealing their beautiful heritage.
The Régordane Trail
Traversing the Régordane trail means venturing into 3 departments: Haute-Loire, Lozère, and Gard, true paradises for hikers. In the land of volcanoes, in Gévaudan, between the Cévennes and the Mediterranean, the Régordane trail is a millenary route of pilgrimage and exchange. Admire its landscapes, discover its historical tales, tread its paths...
